About the programme
A space where you create, connect and be inspired.
Art & Connect brings young people, families and the community together through creativity, conversation and shared experiences.
Every Thursday, participants can drop in and enjoy a variety of completely free workshops, including pottery, painting, music, theatre, dance, cooking, jewellery making, nail art, games, seed planting, sports and much more.
The programme is about more than learning a new skill. It provides a safe and welcoming place for young people to meet others, build confidence, reduce isolation, express themselves and feel part of their community.
Our idea of a “Human Library” is simple: everyone has something to share. You can come to learn, create, teach something you love, meet new people, or simply sit down for a cup of tea or coffee and have a conversation.
There is no need to take part in every activity and no pressure to participate. Just turn up, connect and feel welcome.
