Privacy Notice
Last updated 19 September 2026
London Emek Theatre (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This notice explains, in plain language, what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who can see it and how long we keep it.
What we collect
We only collect the information you choose to send us:
- Contact form: your name, email address and your message.
- Programme and event registrations (for example Art & Connect): the participant’s name, age, email address and (optionally) phone number; the activities they are interested in; whether they would like to run a workshop; any notes you add; and, for participants under 18, the name and contact details of a parent or guardian.
- Your choices: whether you agreed to this privacy notice and whether you are happy for the participant to appear in photos or videos taken at our activities.
Why we use it
We use this information only to organise our programmes and events (for example planning workshops, keeping participants safe and contacting you about sessions) and to reply to your messages.
We do not use your information for marketing and we do not sell it.
Who can see it
Your information is stored on our own website system and can only be seen by Emek Theatre administrators.
Where it is needed to run a programme, we may share relevant registration details with our programme partner, Edmonton Community Partnership (for example for safeguarding or attendance reporting). We do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.
Photos and videos
We sometimes take photos and videos at our activities to share our work. We only include participants who have given permission on the registration form. You can change your mind at any time by emailing us.
How long we keep it
We keep registration details for up to 12 months after the programme ends, and contact messages for as long as needed to deal with them. After that they are deleted from our system. Administrators can delete records at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you (or about your child), or withdraw any consent you have given. Just email us and we will respond as soon as we can, and within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can also contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
